Red Cross

Gartocharn Red Cross Group

The British Red Cross is a volunteer-led humanitarian organisation that helps people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are. It enables vulnerable people at home and overseas to prepare for and respond to emergencies in their own communities. And when the crisis is over, it helps people recover and move on with their lives.

Gartocharn has a long history of support for the Red Cross and holds fundraising events every year. During Red Cross week in May volunteers carry out a door to door collection and organise a popular coffee evening.
