Red Cross Week   7 – 13 May 2012

Throughout Red Cross week volunteers from the Gartocharn Red Cross Committee will be out and about for the door to door collection.  This provides a substantial amount of the total raised in the area. The other main activity is the Coffee Evening which this year is on Thursday 10 May 7.00 pm at KMH. A small admission charge will be made which includes tea, coffee and cakes.

The Coffee Evening will have all the usual stalls and the Garden Club will be helping to provide a fine array of plants and flowers. Bargains are to be found on the Bric a Brac stall and once again there will be some exciting and interesting raffle prizes.

Come along and support this very worthy cause. We hear on the news of the tragedies and natural disasters that take place across the world and the Red Cross is always there providing practical help and support when it's most needed.
