Aber Right of Way Path

In January 2005 a sub-group, led by Willie Nisbet, was formed. Initially the sub-group was known as the Paths Group. Working in partnership with Scottish Natural Heritage and Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park Authority, the Aber Right of Way Path Refurbishment Project became their first project.

The project is now complete and has enabled a substantial upgrading of a popular local route. This path is the recommended route to Loch Lomond National Nature Reserve and Loch Lomond's southern shore. Cars should be parked in the Millennium Hall car park.

A leaflet has been produced which is available from the Village Shop and the Millennium Hall and an interpretative board has been erected beside the Millennium Hall giving additional information.
