Ross Priory Woodland Project

The Ross Priory Community Woodland Group is working in partnership with Forestry Commission Scotland (FCS) to develop a community woodland.  Broad management objectives include education, leisure and recreation, conservation and enhancement of the natural environment and landscape, conservation of cultural heritage and economic use.

The views of the Community are important to the development of this project. John Hair, FCS, gave a talk following our AGM in January 2009 and a map of the proposed path routes was available for comment. An update on the project will be given at the next AGM and in the Dumpling Times.
