Gym

The Gym

There is a mini-gym on the lower floor of the building. This contains all the normal items – a jogging/walking machine, rowing machine, step machine, cycle exerciser, abdo cradle and mat, resistance station with weight stack, and various hand weights etc.

The gym is available 9.00 am to 9.00 pm Monday to Saturday, and 12.30 pm to 9.00 pm on Sundays.

There are locker rooms in the ladies’ and men’s shower-rooms along the corridor. On joining, each gym member is equipped with an entry card for the lower floor entrance. For insurance reasons, membership is only for those aged 18 and over.

Membership is inexpensive at £100 per annum or £26 per quarter.

Before using the gym each new member must have an induction session, to ensure that he/she understands the workings of the equipment, and a proper approach to fitness training. In the case of those who have been members of other gyms in the past, this can be fairly brief.

For an application form, contact James Macrae – 01389 830430 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it him.

You will require a passport-type photograph to accompany your application.
